Validation and Qualification
Preconditions for Chromeleon OQ

Chromeleon Operational Qualification can be performed both for pure Client PCs and for Server PCs. Connect the Datasource that is available on the CD to the client. You can either install the original datasource from the CD or a copy saved on any drive.

The user who is logged on must have the right to start and stop the Chromeleon server and to start the Chromeleon client. If the user does not have these rights, (s)he cannot perform Chromeleon Operational Qualification automatically using the wizard. (The rights the user has are defined by his (her) membership in the respective Privilege group. For more information about access rights, refer to Chromeleon User Management  Privileges (Categories).

If the user who is logged on does not have the right to start and stop the Chromeleon server, (s)he must at least be entitled to configure the server and to start the client. For information about how to proceed, refer to How to: Working with Files, Databases, and Networks  Performing Chromeleon OQ Manually.

If the user who is logged on is not allowed to configure the server, (s)he cannot perform Chromeleon Operational Qualification.
